This inspiring museum is located in sunny Central
Oregon on the Warm Springs Indian Reservation. It's
mission is to preserve, avance and share the
knowledge of the cultural, traditional and artistic
heritage of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs.

ONABEN
A Native American business network, is a non-profit,
public-benefit corporation created by Northwest
Indian Tribes to increase the success of private
businesses owned by Native Americans. ONABEN
offers training and support focused on developing
entrepreneurship in Indian communities.

The High Desert Museum
Located just south of Bend, Oregon, this museum is
dedicated to a greater understanding of the High
Desert's wildlife, culture, art and natural resources. It
provides interactive programs, exhibits and events
throughout the year.

The Oregon Historical Society (OHS)
The Society has been providing historical information
about Oregon since the early 1900's. They publish the
"Oregon Historical Quarterly", as well as provide
artifact collections, a research library and educational
programs and events throughout the state.

The Portland Art Museum
Located in downtown Portland, this recently expanded
building provides greater accessibility to the
Museum's growing collections and programs. Young
and old alike have a wonderful opportunity to
experience some of the greatest works in the world.

Ledger Artist Frank Salcido Oregon Artbeat Show,
January 3, 2008
On January 3, 2008, be sure to watch OPB's "Oregon
Artbeat Show", featuring Frank Salcido, a Native
American Artist famous for his Ledger Art. Frank
currently lives right here in Portland and has several of
his pieces available at "Bonnie Kahn's Wild West Art

CRITFC
Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission is a joint
effort by the Warm Springs, Yakama, Umatilla and Nez
Perce tribes to renew their authority in fisheries
management on the Columbia River. Check out their

National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum
Founded in 1961 in Oklahoma City, OK, this museum
is the premier institution of Western history, art and
culture. They collect, preserve and exhibit
internationally renown collections of Western art and
artifacts as well as sponsor educational programs to
stimulate interest in the legacy of the American West.

Native American Rehabilitation Association of the
Northwest, Inc
NARA Northwest provides education, physical and
mental health services and substance abuse treatment
that is culturally appropriate to American Indians,
Alaska Natives and other vulnerable people.

Thomas Edison High School
An independent, alternative high school providing
unique opportunities for students with special learning
needs. Founded in 1973 as the Tree of Learning, this
high school is accredited by the Northwest Association
of Schools and Colleges.
